Thank you!

Thank you for supporting our church with your time and your talents.

Child protective clearances

Pennsylvania law (and wisdom) requires that anybody above the age of 14 who volunteers to work with children needs to go through mandated reporter training, and certain background checks.  If you work with children's events at the church, ensure that you are up to date with the clearances below.  After completing them, print out the certificates and leave them in the church mailbox of our clearances registrar, Bob Holt

If you have any questions, please reach out to Bob.

Becoming a member

Membership at First Baptist Church of Monroeville is open to all those who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, are in agreement with the covenant and practice of the church, and have had a profession of faith via baptism.

While a few positions at the church require membership, we are passionate that the church body is made of everybody who loves God and shares his love with others.  You do not have to be a member to be actively helping with our worship services, a part of our ministries, or serve on the committees act as God's hands and feet in the world.

First, you must believe that Jesus died for the perfect and sufficient price for your sins.

Working with the Pastor and the Board of Deacons, discuss your faith and your relationship with Jesus.  Make a public proclamation of your faith, typically at a baptism or church meeting.

On the recommendation of the Deacons, as a business matter, the church congregation will vote on your inclusion as a member.

As a member, you will be entitled to vote during church business meetings.  You will additionally be eligible serve on the boards of the church and as a church officer.
